Our mission is to provide affordable and accessible artistic education to our community and its youth. Students with or without ceramic experience can sign up for a single class or come back for many, choosing what fits their interest, schedule, and pace. We believe in keeping things simple and welcoming: no pricey multi-week courses, no rigid structures\u2014 just open doors, open minds, and lots of clay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We strive to provide access to a safe and accommodating space where people of all abilities can explore the wonderful world of clay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beginner Classes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing\u2014 centering, opening, and pulling\u2014 as well as hand-building and glazing techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mixed Level Open Studio<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students advance their throwing and hand-building skills, as well as experiment with glazes. Individualized instruction is provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Off-hours Independent Practice<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students work autonomously, with an instructor present for assistance if needed. Ideal for those with unpredictable schedules who can\u2019t commit to regular class times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kiln Space Rental<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create at home and fire with us! We\u2019re one of the few Chicago studios offering kiln firings to independent artists. Cone 6 firings available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
